Do people actually use trackballs in 2024?! 🖲️
If going full 80's arcade game on a timesheet is your thing, then have at it... (just keep it away from my dual mouse setup) 🖱️🖱️

@catsalad
Awaiting one of these in the fall

Dual cursor would be a hoot! 🦉

It was significantly cheaper as a super-early-bird kickstarter
I’d still be interested now, but don’t think I could afford it at the full cost

I wish other #Disabled folks had access to resources so they could get tools like this
I cannot type on a “normal” keyboard anymore
#Apple laptops are totally inaccessible for instance since I developed a hand tremor a few years ago
This thing costs as much as a computer, but I’ll be able to type
@ryancoordinator @catsalad
I should say, I hope I’ll be able to type with it
I won’t know until it arrives in the fall and I get to try it
I’m guessing I may need to swap out the springs in the switches, but it looks like that won’t be too hard
@AccordionBruce @catsalad looking forward to your review.
Looking at this with some enthusiasm, but then I remember how I bought a Moonlander keyboard and the closed-source suck-ass-ness of not being in control of my keyboard.
I want to try it, but I hate the idea of putting it into an important position in my work or life.

Yeah, they’ve committed to code-dump if the company fails, so nobody’s left with bricks
But they are writing the code until then. And it does look like pretty interesting stuff:

I’m not a developer so it’s not something I would personally be able to contribute to either way
