Listen pundits and Dem influencers. Your willingness to continue beating this horse is becoming…weird. Ask yourself why most prominent Black leaders & ordinary Black ppl are for #Biden staying in. We love Kamala, so what could be the reason? Maybe we see America through a different lens. One that allows us to see things that you don’t. Your apparent dismissal of that possibility is very revealing. And not in a good way.

@GottaLaff Maybe Ifill could be so kind as to reveal what it is that Black people see that the rest of us can't? Because to those of us lacking perspective, it sure as shit looks like Biden has been losing all year, has no plan to turn it around, doesn't have the capability to turn it around, and is going to usher in American fascism with his stubborn pride.

2. He's not dropping out
3. No one else has offered to be a replacement
4. The virtual roll-call vote is in ~2 weeks, and delegates are already pledged to vote for the winner of their state's primary

This is a non-starter, and the only reason to bang on about it is if you're trying to push the "Dems in Disarray" narrative to suppress turnout.

1. True, but we know that name recognition, media coverage, and being at the head of the ticket matters a lot in polling. Who knows what kind of bump Newsom might get, for example, if he were the nominee.
2. That appears to be true. But we're discussing what should happen, including whether we should try to force him out.
3. True, today no one wants to stick their neck out or be responsible for disunity. But things can change quickly in politics.
4. True for many states.

A lot of Democrats are suddenly falling into conspiracy theories of their own. As I've said before, they seem to think that the rest of us didn't hear the debate, can't see that Biden is avoiding interviews, and can't read that he's been losing all year. No, it must be that we're all part of the NYT conspiracy to bring him down.
