@chevrahachachamot I dunno, I'll check out the video. What I can say is that the way that the fediverse et. al. frame the issue can be distilled to the ICJ submission from South Africa, as:
"For this reason it is important to place the acts of genocide in the
broader context of Israel’s conduct towards Palestinians during its 75-year-long..."
While I don't know the precise terminology for this rhetoric, it's effectively hook, line, and sinker. Once you swallow the one, then the rest follow in this chain of reasoning, such as it is.
Brushing aside this as emblematic of the #sapirwhorfhypothesis sways no one. Maybe Malcolm X would have had something to say on deprogramming these cult members, I do not.
If I had a solution I'd be shouting it from the rooftops.
