A pity it didn't take you to the bottom of the fjord, because then you would have 1000m+ cliffs on both sides.

And you would have #kjerag with #kjeragbolten and the possibility of a hike to Kjeragbolten (picture)

But the hike there is a tough one (the one to #preikestolen is easy in comparison).

Also while on the fjord, near Kjerag, you have the possibility of seeing BASE jumpers. One of the most popular places for it in Norway.

@steinarb yeah, I read about that hike in one of my guidebooks or maybe in TripAdvisor. I forget which. But I’m an old guy with a horrible fear of heights so I didn’t think it was for me. Plus the forecast was for inclement weather while I’m in Stavanger.

And, base jumping? Nope. There are heights involved.
