Just watched Identikit (aka "The Driver's Seat"). It might be at a low point in Elizabeth Taylor's career but it is peak Liz to me.

Recommending this and Kier-La Janisse's book House of Psychotic Women: An Autobiographical Topography of Female Neurosis in Horror and Exploitation Films that got me interested in the film.

"Do you carry a revolver? Because if you did you could shoot me." I only know about this movie thanks to Kier-La Janisse's book House of Psychotic Women: An Autobiographical Topography of Female Neurosis in Horror and Exploitation Films. I might have heard it briefly mentioned before in some kind of Elizabeth Taylor retrospect but never mentioned as a highlight or anything. The book mentioned Secret Ceremony, which was excellent, so it only made sense to seek this up. It's not an easy watch, there is nothing "likeable" to be found, but it is a rewarding watch. I think psychotic
