@BootsChantilly Most of my Todd shows were at a club on Northwest Highway, first called the Palladium, then rebranded as the Agora Ballroom. They would do four shows each tour, an early and a late show for two nights
@curtisysmith I remember the Palladium! I worked at the Agora in Houston & painted the mural in the entryway there—it was where I met my 1st husband, on my 18th birthday after he’d played the Coliseum earlier that night. Got to see some awesome shows while working—when it was the Agora & later, the Rock Saloon.
Barbara Monaco@BootsChantilly I was so excited to see him in a small venue, 600 seats, a few years ago. Unfortunately he must have been having a his absolute worst day ever. He was cranky, clearly upset about something, and didn't hide it. The sound mix was terrible too. 😢
I ended up walking out, something I had never done before or since. I love his music, so am glad to know that others have had a much better experience.
