With this thesis, we want to answer two questions, from an HCI perspective:
What are the challenges neurodivergent folks encounter when looking/applying for paid work?
How can part of this be redesigned to better fit neurodivergent folks' needs and preferences?

In this thesis, the student will build on a small app prototype one of my colleagues already created.
The goal of the app is to help people track their procrastination behavior - work is still needed regarding the feature set and app frontend.
So I had two student thesis topics out in July - one on ND-friendly job search, the other on an app to reflect on one's procrastinatory behavior.
The two students who in the end decided to do their theses with me have done some preliminary research in the last 4-5 weeks.
Next week, they'll both be presenting this preliminary work, and I am DAMN excited.

The students had their presentations today. Only issues that we had to discuss: for both works, the scope was too wide for a bachelor's degree. We do know where and what to cut out though, so that's fine.
I'm hyped for the work they're setting out to do, this is going to be good 💪
