Experts in utilization of the #Zettelkasten method, I ask you:

Sometimes the number of files and folders can seem overwhelming, so it becomes necessary to break it down into categories.

Thinking about normalization (Codd's theory), or simply organizing files and folders.

For example:

This Topic
Topic Thing One
Topic Thing Two
Thing Two posited
Thing Two not-posited

Burger
Burger.Toppings
Toppings.Ketchup
Toppings.Mustard
Burger.Protein
Burger.Protein.Turkey
Burger.Protein.Beef
Burger.Protein.Cut-o-Bean

the idea of naming files / folders / containers / ideas / so they are easy to identify if you interact with it outside of its parent-context
(among other reasons)

You like to make #notes You organize your life by some Zettelkasten-like methodology. You like cloud-based services because it's convenient to make your grocery list now, from home, and check it before leaving work because you're forgetful like me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zettelkasten #Zettelkasten What is your anti-anxiety app for managing your note-taking neurosis? #CherryTree #OneNote #CloudServices #SAAS #EnterpriseSaas [ ] CherryTree by Giuspen [ ] OneNote by Microsoft [ ] Other

@ajaxStardust I don't use folders or categories, but I do use structure notes (or hub notes, or whatever). My principle is that everything is just a note, and so is a folder or category or tag. It's notes all the way up and down. I'm not trying to create an encyclopedia, just trying to write.

This, i find particularly fascinating!
As one who is beginning a journey into the #AI #backend #ml_backend

(It's funny how you learn things about yourself as the years progress. I guess I've always been a backend developer type having zero instructor-led edu in CompSci, sans BASIC in the 80's)

But this @writingslowly makes me wonder whether it's valid that I'd consider this analogous to the way (i believe) AI processes some things. prior to it perhaps at least, in building a dataset?

More like a family-tree, or the diagrams you can create in Miro?

It's early. I smell coffee. Can't rem tech terms for shapes and lines in collaborative white board. LOL!
