Koto musician Takako Haggarty works with a special school in Brisbane, to teach disabled students to play the instrument — helping them gain skills in mobility and emotional regulation.

@PhoenixSerenity I had the opportunity to try the koto once. I kinda liked it. I think in time and with practice, I could probably have learned to play one decently.

Whether I could still do so
now is another question entirely.

(But the samisen breaks my brain. The constant retuning while playing as the strings stretch...)
