Happy 30th birthday to The Prodigy's best album Music For The Jilted Generation. I think I must've been skint at the time but I remember that I bought it a few weeks after release which was odd as I was buying all their singles as soon as I could. What an album, though (and made even better for me as one of my all-time fave bands, Pop Will Eat Itself, are on it too!).

@ellieraejaye I wasn't a fan of The Prodigy, but I seem to remember Prodigy from Mobb Deep couldn't release as "Prodigy" alone bc of The Prodigy. And since I ride for Mobb Deep, I chose sides.
Also, "prodigy" is a weird word. Really only "prodigy" and "effigy" use that -igy.
What probably didn't help Mobb Deep's Prodigy is that The Prodigy ditched the 'The' for a while too, just to make things more confusing.
Yeah, it is a weird word. I remember a lot of people mispronouncing it as 'progidy' then they first gained fame.
