On another day out from #Chilworth we drove to Shawford and walked a pretty lane along Hockney Meadows to Compton Lock on the river Itchen. Nicky couldn’t resist a #WildSwim in the fast-flowing water, causing some bemusement to passing walkers. Later we saw other groups take to the chilly water ( 10degC ) with loud shrieks, perhaps inspired by Nicky’s example.
