Americans should be terrified of Project 2025. It seeks to strip basic human rights from citizens and turn the country into a fiefdom with no checks and balances.

It shouldn’t matter who the candidate is from the Democratic Party, every American citizen who still wishes to have rights and freedom should not want this plan to materialize in any way and work to defeat anyone in favor of this plan. The goal should be to ensure this doesn’t materialize. Whoever the candidate is, the entire party should hammer the points of that plan.

In any reasonable period, this plan on its own should have been enough to convince voters to vote against it and against everyone in favor of it but we’re living in one hell of an “interesting time” where not only will people refuse to heed warnings, they won’t even believe it after it happens to them.

It’s not just about stopping Trump, it’s stopping the entire engine, caboose, and everything on it from reaching their destination. Failing that, 1984 won’t just be a book and a movie.

@aulia
Agreed. The fact that #CNN didn't ask a SINGLE QUESTION about #project2025 during the #Presidentialdebates demonstrates their #complicity with this project
@lisagetspolitik @aulia probably because the Heritage Foundation has been doing this stuff since the Reagan era?

@aulia

should be, but racism and religion mafia(TM) entitlement grandeur plays such weird tricks ...

@aulia yes. The press need to report this to get the word out. How come there's so little coverage of actual policies?

@Niall there’s a few if you look for it but if you’re outside of the US you’re unlikely to have seen coverage of it. The document’s been out for a while with little awareness outside of political circles until the last few months (weeks?).

Here’s an overview from the BBC https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c977njnvq2do

What is Project 2025? Wish list for Trump second term, explained

A conservative think tank set out a sweeping vision for governing that could influence Trump's next term. What influence has it had so far?

@aulia thanks. My point was maybe not well articulated. I mean why isn't this the top headline on every news site every day: 'Republican Manifesto Openly Fascist- whatt this means for you part xxx of 568' ?
I don't expect an answer!
*edit to correct typo. 'what' was 'west'
@aulia It would probably also help to publicize the plan off the internet. I bet a lot of GOP potential voters don’t want this result.
@aulia yes. Biden should have talked about that during the "debate" ...
