For the #Steurenthaler #OneNameStudy I created a profile for Maria Agatha, who married in #Burkheim in 1715. I found her, because the dissertation by Julius Kolbert mentioned her name with a rather uncommon spelling and I found it on Google Books. I was curious about him, but didn't find anything except the dissertation. 1/2

Then I came up with checking the Baden newspapers (a great collection at BLB Karlsruhe) and I read "the Creator considered his life's work completed in January 1945, when he redeemed him from Russian war captivity" signed by his mother. I guess that explains, why there wasn't anything more about him to be found. At https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Koberne-1 he now at least has a #WikiTree profile [2/2]
