I may have bought an old keyboard that doesn't work and that I don't need.

No, not a cool old keyboard, just an odd one. I'll share pics once it gets here.

To give you an idea of how old the keyboard happens to be, I had to buy one of these adapters. I used to have a couple of these in the 1990s but got rid of them in one of my moves.

It's here; it's supposed to be a Qtronix QX-301H (I've seen nearly identical keyboards online with a different name), but lost its label at some point. Needs a bit of a clean but seems okay.

Wait, it mostly works? Some keys are iffy but the more I type the better those work. Will be using it for a while then will start a full clean soonish.

Slightly disappointed, I thought I would have to repair something. Still, keys feel okay - key switches have a blue stem resembling a cherry MX but aren't clicky. Not bad though, feedback is decent.

@jf_718 Oh nice. Cherry MX switches?
@jackyan Not cherry MX but the stem is similar. From the outside they kinda look like Cherry MX blue, but maybe feel more like Brown?
@jf_718 Still nice! I’ve bought 16-inch, all-key keyboards since the early 2000s. I wouldn’t use anything else. The trick was always to find one that typed nicely … yours looks lovely.
@jackyan Thank you. When I saw it on eBay I had to get it!
