Here's my Sunak/Starmer skunk cartoon in today's edition of the Morning Star newspaper. This is my second cartoon printed in the Star this week, which apparently has earned me a 'purple patch'.
On a more serious note; it's pretty sad that on July 4th that THIS is what people have to choose from in the UK.

As I said at https://mastodon.scot/@JdeBP/112693146637853872 and elsewhere, it's the choice of Leader of H.M. Opposition that is important in this #UKGeneralElection , not of H.M. Government.

The same old LCP-vs-CUP see-saw since the 1930s, with the CUP shouting about abolishing human rights & the NHS and blaming foreigners & the poor, from the Opposition pulpit?

Or an actual, possible this time around as a probably once in a lifetime opportunity, third party instead?

In fact, we have the once in a lifetime opportunity this time around to choose a third person from another party … as the Leader of H.M. Opposition, if people actually vote, and with #TacticalVoting where appropriate ensure that the CUP loses as many seats as possible. #UKPolitics #UKGeneralElection
