Bike spot map released! This useful project asks people to place a dot on the map where they feel safe or unsafe while cycling. In our area, below, Chapel St, Inkerman St and Kerferd Rd really stand out as unsafe locations, though it's heartening to see a number of green (safe) spots blooming on St Kilda Road (north of the Junction). #melbourne #cycling #BikeSpot #CoPP

The frequent spots on Kerferd Rd and Inkerman St are not coincidentally where our local Council has failed to address bike safety issues. We (Port Phillip BUG) use BikeSpot data in our advocacy, but it seems like anti-bike lane advocates are onto this: #melbourne #cycling @foxyloxy
