Would anyone have a template for braille letters in the correct dimensions and spacing (e.g., Marburg Medium) for printing on letter-size pages in landscape orientation, 39-40 letters per line (or a link to same)? I would like to print "blanks" from Word or LibreOffice Writer and emboss on my own, as a way to sensitize my fingers for reading. TIA

@dbaplanb Wow, that would be quite amazing if someone here on Mastodon actually had such a template! Are you preparing to learn actual Braille?
@cobalt I do indeed intend to learn to read braille. The template I'm imagining is more like a page of spaces, where each space is the size and shape of a 6-dot character that I'd be likely to find in a braille book. Probably I should look for a font I can install so I can create this for myself. And I will check my library for braille books so I know what I'm getting myself into.
I think it will be good exercise for my brain to learn to read with my hands.
@dbaplanb Here is one, run by a center for the blind: https://clovernook.org/braille-printing-house/braille-production/
I see by search there are many companies that do this and I’d forgotten the term “tactile graphics”. I’d look into specialty vendors for blindness and vision impairment that offer training aids for learning Braille. I know I’ve seen similar projects to what you describe.

This is a fantastic resource, thank you! Also, a great story about the founding of the enterprise in 1903.
Turns out I have found not only a Braille cell "template" but a font that I've just installed. Free, though I had to sign up for the newsletter: https://www.pharmabraille.com/pharmaceutical-braille/introduction-to-pharmaceutical-braille/
