We're taking a short trip today. I'd rather stay at home, so I'm already dragging my feet and nobody else has even gotten out of bed this morning. Do you ever do that when you don't want to do something that you know that you are going to have to do? Another way to describe it is slowing around, like if you procrastinate long enough the thing will go away. It won't work though; I know I must go to keep peace in the family. Hmmm ... did I just rhyme? My best delaying tactic is just not to do anything yet, be quiet as a mouse and let everyone else sleep through the morning.
