Mask bans tell disabled people they don’t matter. That since we aren’t willingly “just staying home forever” you’re going to FORCE us by making it illegal for us to protect ourselves.

The #NeedleExchange in #Tacoma Washington used to hand out lapel pins made of syringes 💉 (with the sharps removed)

Which were considered illegal “drug paraphernalia” in the midst of the worst of the HIV crisis

I wore one constantly for years next to a button a local churchy group made that raised a ruckus that said “The body of Christ has AIDS”

Today I read the composer Stockhausen‘s mother was probably euthanized by the Nazis

That was shocking. I guess I didn’t know much about him because it seems a pretty well known part of his story

Things like the #MaskBan need to be tied to those historical atrocities
