I'll be completely unsurprised if in 40 years it gets leaked/FOIA'd that the inorganic propping up of afab-amab language, "you don't need transition" and "don't vote" discourse was enacted specifically to harm our movement and our rights.

Which is not to say all such discourse *originated* with malicious intent. But you just have to find 1 counterproductive take from a well-meaning person, and swarm it with fake/malicious likes and approvals, to turn it into the new community status-quo.
