Peter Krefting@heygarrett @dotjayne This was before Git, but I had to pick up a set of patches from a colleague who died if cancer at my previous $DAYJOB. It was tough, but fortunately he was in the habit of documenting all he did, so I did manage to finish it.
I picked up the same habit of keeping a work log shortly after.
@heygarrett @dotjayne Correction: Git was around (this was in 2008), but the company used an older VCS.
