Coraline in 3D!

@neilhimself 's beautiful story is being rereleased in its 3D version in some theatres this summer!

I've never seen Coraline on screen, and from what I hear, the 3D version is a 3D movie that actual works and is remarkable to watch. It's not playing in my little city, but it feels like it could be worth driving to a nearby city to see. A little road trip might be in our future 💛💙♥️

@ElleGray @neilhimself it’s literally the only 3D movie that I’ve felt was worth watching on 3D. I watched it multiple times in 3D, and was so bummed it got knocked out of my local theaters by Jonas Brothers 3D. It is absolutely gorgeous in 3D on screen!

@neilhimself I will totally bring my kids to see this in the theaters, but I’d also absolutely love to have the real 3D version released for streaming/purchase/download — I so want to be able to watch this on a Vision Pro in legit 3D!

@ElleGray @neilhimself my understanding is they used an actual dual cam setup for the 3d instead of doing it in post which is why the 3d works particularly well

For years I wished to watch the movie. Being a remastered version, with effective 3D, and also *in a cinema*, it will be much much better.

Checking the website, at the capital city where I live there will be zero sessions (!!), but in a close city there will be two... ironically in 2D! 😄

(I hope my city will have sessions, also because, after the recent incredible month of flooding, we still don't have back the train line to that city.)
