Ms. Que Banh

#BlackMedick aka #HopClover.

It grows on almost every continent. Very cold & drought resistant. Known as an excellent pioneer plant to rewild disturbed grounds. #PioneerPlants are plants that are often used to start many #rewilding efforts in areas where the soil isn't great & has suffered damages. It doesn't do too well in full shade. Very #ColdResistant & #DroughtResistant, once established - it's been found in mountain elevations to desert environments.

A good choice for a #ClimateActionGarden.
In the alfalfa family of plants.

The seeds are edible & can be ground up into flour but they're too small for the effort. It's mainly used as animal #fodder & it attracts lots of #pollinators 👍

@Dahna Yeah, it can be as it's in the bur clover alfalfa family. It's less sticky than other bur clover varieties.

@firephoto It's part of some of my DIY alternative cover crops seeds mix. I scatter more mixed seeds around yards, especially barren spots, 3-4/year 😊
