The thing with the Just Stop Oil Stonehenge protest that gets me is that nobody can explain exactly how it will accomplish anything. I’d dynamite Stonehenge if it would take us down a tenth of a degree, but I’m not sure what it does. It doesn’t raise awareness, because at this point awareness has already been raised. It just feels performative.

And that’s where we are. Nobody has any idea what will actually be effective. People are just desperate for something, ANYTHING.
