Where Art Thou

½ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
¼ oz maraschino liqueur
½ oz dry vermouth
1½ oz butterfly pea flower gin

Method: Shake and double strain into chilled coupe.

I saw this riff on the Aviation from @[email protected] which thankfully omits the violet liqueur (I'm not a fan). Instead, the brilliant color comes from butterfly pea flower gin. This photo used Empress 1908 but any similar gin works.
