richie510@harrisonheinig I know this is a broken record, but... #homeassistant is the key. Just get a home assistant server running in your home and see how it easily integrates with everything you already have. You can do this as slowly as you like, and you can keep HomeKit as the front end for your day to day, but have home assistant drive the complex automations that will make your home truly smart and useful to you.

Ryan Lintott@harrisonheinig or lock your door and turn your home into an escape room! What combination of lights, motion detectors and Siri commands will set you free? Maybe the temperature goes up every 10 minutes and if you’re not out in 60 the alarm system goes off.
