I sometimes get ripped a new one when mentioning the use of the streaming service belonging to the bald headed pseudo astronaut. IK and I get it BUT recently 2 new "old" dramas have been put on the channel.

#OhMyGhost is great for fans of #ParkBoYoung and #JoJungSuk. Hard to believe this romcom is 9 yrs old and still giving me smooshy cute romcom vibes. πŸ’–

The other is #MeltingMeSoftly. I have wanted to see this 2019 drama but find #JiChangWook a bit hit and miss. I recall some folks giving this a πŸ‘ so I will check it out. Premise: 2 people agree to take part in a 24hr cryogenic experiment only for it to accidentally last 20 yrs.

"Oh My Ghost" is good. I watched it a few months ago.

I love Ji Chang Wook, but also find his choices hit or miss.

Here's what I thought of "Melting Me Softly" https://techhub.social/@whoosh/111519073904916622

Attached: 1 image #kDrama Melting Me Softly (2019 - Viki, 16 1:05 eps) An interesting idea for a story - 2 people volunteer to be frozen for a day, but due to evil shenanigans, wake up 20 years later to a changed world, friends, & family. The cast is full of phenomenal talent. Although the FL has disappointed me in 2 dramas now. The screen writer wrote one of my favorites, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," but here was just a full-of-tropes drama with some silliness. There could have been a profound statement about the passage of time changing our values & perspectives, but it missed the mark, didn't use the crime or the secondary characters to emphasize a theme (as she did in SWDBS). Ji Chang Wook & the other wonderful actors save it as a cute romcom, but it really could have been so much more. That said I did laugh & even shed a few tears, but don't expect a lot. https://mydramalist.com/34063-let-me-melt #MeltingMeSoftly #λ‚ λ…Ήμ—¬μ£Όμ˜€ #JiChangWook #μ§€μ°½μš± #WonJinAh #원진아 #WhooshReview
