Normally I use a headset for video conferencing but sometimes it's not the look I really want. Unfortunately the audio from my webcam mic is crappy in comparison.

Anyone got any advice about a cheapish desk mic? Let's assume I know nothing...

Cor. I will not be buying a Steelseries Alias USB gaming microphone for $498!

@thomasbeagle I recently bought a JBL "Quantum Stream Talk" from PB Tech and it seems fine. USB-C, has some lights to let you know when muted and live, sound quality acceptable.

EDIT: I see someone else already suggested this. I can only agree.
