Robbie Shepherd was a great champion of music, the arts and the Doric language, during his life. And now, a series of legacy projects have been devised by his great friend, Robert Lovie. These include two bursaries to encourage young people at the Royal Conservatoire in Glasgow and the Elphinstone Institute at Aberdeen University.
