Welp, I've taken the mic from "reading only sometimes" to "completely unresponsive" so uh... I don't think I'll quit my day job. Gonna need that to get a new mic, because I'm pretty sure I well and truly killed this one.

@HollyGoDarkly I'm one of those strange people who reads user manuals but I am also extremely forgetful, so it's a toss-up on what method I use depending on the day ;)
