neville parkRan off to the woods for several hours today and in a kind of boggy creekside meadow saw a frog, two garter snakes, and a cottontail rabbit!! None of which I got pictures of before they hopped/slithered away.
Haven't even gotten around to IDing stuff yet, too tired to hashtag assiduously, but here's just a few finds!
- this gorgeous damselfly, I just went real slow to get close enough with the macro lens
- lots of these cockroaches, native _Parcoblatta_ I think
- an extremely pregegnant ant-mimic jumping spider, _Synemosyne_ I think
- lots of huuuge isopods!
