Executive Dysfunction is most common among neurodivergent people. It is the disruption of the brain’s executive functions that helps process, regulate, control and manage other cognitive processes. Meaning, it could make doing the most easiest task very difficult to do. I struggle with this sometimes and I always do my task’s for the day but sometimes it gets a little hard to even finish it quickly. Does anyone else feel like this? #executivedysfunction #actuallyautistic #autisticmemes
@nickythehero I've come to realize it's always there. I might not notice it in the moment and I can appear to not struggle, but my energy levels and brain fog sure reflect it afterwards if I've had a few too many things to overcome. Most of the time it's inertia, and I can't switch tasks without a lot of effort. Then there are days when washing dishes is hard because switching from plates to cleaning the cutlery is overwhelming.
