Carson HillMy wife (who has a better animal handling skill than I do) wraps a blanket around the cat, sits cross legged, cat (in blanket) in her lap, the blanket gathered up firmly just below his head (around neck) as a kind of sack.
I hold the sack shut (a helper-person task).
Then she fishes out his paws through the gaps in the blanket, one by one. He doesn't fight *too* much.
Key element is being calm/upbeat, so the cat feels annoyed, but not afraid. They *can* escape.
