As a person working as a "support engineer" since basically 2005 (and earlier in Support related jobs at Nortel), I find it hard to file support requests :-) I worry I am being too harsh, not supplying troubleshooting details etc etc :-) I haven't been able to post photos to roland.club for 3 or 4 days now so I guess I'll bite the bullet and file a support request with Steps to Reproduce :-) today
@roland Also as a support engineer, I find it hard to file support requests because I know how busy they are. I also, from being on the receiving end of them, know what a good support request is, so I always try to endeavour to file them with steps to reproduce, links to documentation I’ve consulted, output in copy & paste format, and, baring that, screenshots etc., and if applicable, URLs. #SupportEngineer
@roland I'm just amazed at any service that still has support staff. So many platforms make you talk to a chatbot or read documentation instead.
