Besides the lousy optics of using a private jet to fly to a green jobs event, and boasting about doing a bit of greenwashing, and rubbing the noses of us common bogs who wouldn't have access to a private jet and would have to get from Wales to Scotland the hard way, why on earth did somebody put together a schedule requiring that journey in the first place and why did he OK it?

@Stevenheywood this election has seen some of the most inept campaigning from both major parties. Starmer can try and spin it all he likes, but this just shows how little he regards environmental issues.

If Labour was too scared of the media and the marketing adviser's Red Wall Man What Voted Brexit it at least had the unique selling point that it wasn't nearly as incoherently inept as the Tories but they seem to have been frightened off going down that path, too.
