Woken up by my kids before 5am watching movies in the lounge room. Checked #homeassistant logs and the TV has already been on for almost an hour! So I just went and made an #automation that will turn the TV off it sees a turn on event before 6am.

Could always go the troll method and adjust volume to a level it won't bother you and turn on a movie they don't like.
Or even educational content "Fine you want to be up? You'll be quiet and learn" :P

I've been thinking to put a small "stay in bed" light for my boys room because it doesn't matter what time it is, my 4 year old uses the logic, if there is any sun light outside, it's time to wake up. That's a problem in the summer since there is already a bit of sun at 5AM. 😓
@mhamzahkhan what makes it worse for me is that we're going into winter here - it was pitch black.
I spent all summer with them getting up just before 5am and watching TV, at least it was daylight.
