Hey geo and materials folks! I’ve just released the new version of GrainSizeTools v3.1.0. It’s a handy tool for grain size analysis and more. See it here: https://marcoalopez.github.io/GrainSizeTools/ #GrainSizeTools #grainsize #Stereology #paleopizometry 1/2
README

Not familiar with GrainSizeTools? It’s a free and open source script that lets you (1) quantify and visualize grain size populations, (2) apply stereological methods to estimate the true grain size distribution from 2D sections, and (3) paleopiezometry https://marcoalopez.github.io/GrainSizeTools/ 2/2

@marcoalopez Hmmm, do you know if anybody has tried using that to measure coffee grind size and distribution? I might have a project for next weekend.::
@bigiain Well, no, but it is perfectly possible to use it for any kind of study dealing with particle sizes. 😃
