Anopka@stux As far as I know those brands are already "cheaper" as the same companies mostly have other (luxury) brands as well, which are by far more expensive and don't have any visible brand logos on them.

For many years I have confused my optician(s) when I ask them to only show me frames with absolutely no visible branding on them. When they ask why, I just explain that I don't want to advertise a brand name on my actual face.
It's a lot harder with clothing and often the best I can hope for is a slightly less visible 'low profile' branding element.
I will never understand people with Nike swish tatoos.
