LCKENDRICKThe best option I've seen for renewable energy thats currently being trialed in Europe is tidal turbines why we haven't atleast looked at testing this since we are a island nation has suprised me.

Twice a day. No. Four times.( In then out X 2)
Never stops except at its peak high or low tidal moment.

Oceans Craig@CraigKendrickNZ there has been discussion on tidal turbines and wave power here for a couple of decades. The tech for tidal is close but it needs the right grid framework. Both points are true.. its a tough environment but we have a lot of it.
