I'm so excited. One of the peony crowns I bought and planted last year has its first bloom. I don't think the other one will bloom this year, it was a smaller crown.

Have wanted to have peonies since I was a kid and saw the gorgeous peonies a neighbor had in their back yard. But this is the first time as an adult I've lived somewhere you can grow them.

Bud is from yesterday, open bloom this morning!
