#meshtastic #rak4630 I am getting very nice long #bluetooth range on this device e.g. from kitchen to second floor about 6 meters through two wooden floors ... very handy if reproducible... is this a particularly good #BLE5 BLE 5.0 #bluetooth5 chip or is this expected performance? Anyway being able to have a node on the roof and message it and read it from the ground floor is a boon if it holds.
Even get bluetooth reception in cellar. Hu?

@adingbatponder I'm getting up 12m with RAK4631 on a Wisblock to a older Samsung phone and that's through two solid brick walls.

This is great as I was trying to figure out how to get a signal around the house. With Heltec V3.1 the range was about 4m so the Wisblock with it's little flat Bluetooth antenna is a big improvement and makes one node a viable choice for home.

@gmoretti I too found the excellent bluetooth range a major advantage of that device as compared to some others. But I am trying to make the T-beam work controlled by browser via wifi but no luck so far. (that would be cool if the T-beam were so far away or located such that bluetooth does not work but wifi does.... ) wireless control of node is so important as it has to be up high.
