Bought a pickup truck and a 37 foot RV (travel trailer) last month.

I have an increased sense of mortality lately, and hear the call to explore this country before it's too late. Was it premature? Yeah. We're not retired. But I'm reminded of that line from Shawshank Redemption: "Get busy living, or get busy dying."

First camping trip is this weekend.

@jumptytrumpty You’re gonna love it!!! For that world, you’ll begin by being in ‘vacation mode’ (people still working). Hurry up and get there so you can camp and hurry up to get back. Eventually, you’ll forgo weekend trips and stacking days to get long weekends, and won’t think it’s worth pulling out the rig unless the trip is a week or longer. Ask me how I know.
