What is the point of a ONE TIME PASSCODE if you can't share it with ANYONE (sic - not even you #coopbank)?

The whole point of a one time passcode is you have to share it with someone to get the transaction done. I kow fraud is a massive problem but wrong language isn't going to solve anything.
