@arstechnica Allow Google to collect more data about what they can sell to you.
@horen Google already does "collect" your private emails. You're trusting them by using their service. I don't see this change that much useful either but it isn't a game changer whatsoever.

@arstechnica

Hard no.

Glad I don't use gmail.

@arstechnica Will be especially useful for abhorrently long auto-generated e-mails, probably created by an opposite GMail feature.
@arstechnica we had those, they never work, because they don't really solve problem that actually exists.
@arstechnica
You're telling me google is allowed to read my private e-mail? 😱
@geillescas @arstechnica they’ve been doing it for years. This is nothing new.
@geillescas google already offers plenty of features that require "reading" the contents of your private emails. It has been a thing for a very long time.
@arstechnica Great. Now I have to get a new email service.
@arstechnica Anyone got recommendations for non AI email?

@arstechnica

So can #NextcloudMail, the difference being that they won't use it to form a psychological profile of you in an attempt to manipulate your behavior.

@arstechnica A feature that I want but please offline and self-hosted.
