Taipei, Nov. 4 (CNA) Taipei Metro (MRT) recorded its 13 billionth passenger journey on Friday, with the lucky individual able to travel free of charge on MRT trains for a year, according to Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) Saturday.

A sticker card? That’s their solution? 🤦♂️
It’s such a missed opportunity by icash that they haven’t already got iCash 2.0 in Apple Wallet, given they’re the only ones in Taiwan currently using a modern-enough MIFARE version. They’d instantly take a lot of customers from EasyCard.
