@Centurion480 Calm down. This is a 737-300 manufactured 30-odd years ago. This is almost certainly not on Boeing. A hydraulic fault led the pilots to abort a takeoff at high speed, a risky manoeuver. It swerved off the runway (for unknown reasons), the landing gear collapsed on rough ground, and the left engine caught fire briefly. An evacuation by slides followed and 10 pax and one crew member had _minor_ injuries which they were treated at hospital for.

@benchaotica Two whistleblowers related to Boeing's deliberate and criminal practices are dead. Dozens of people who were whistleblowers over the past two decades in Boeing were terminated or sidelined.

I appreciate the root cause of yesterday's failures may have no connection to current problems at Boeing; however, that hardly immunizes them from criticism, as hundreds of planes, by whistleblower accounts, are flying death traps.

@Centurion480 I agree present day Boeing is a broken company. The two MCAS crashes and fraud are on Boeing. The door plug blowing off is on Boeing. The alleged use of non-airworthy parts on brand new aircraft is on Boeing.

That is why there is no need to exaggerate or to bring in events which have no relevance. It undermines your case and feeds sensationalistic headlines.
