Steve recorded A Minor Forests 'Flemish Altruism' album... there was a time, a lot of noise-rock bands tried to ape a particular sound that was a little bit Slint, maybe a little Rodan, a dash of King Crimosn... some pulled it off better than others... also went for 'edgy' song-titles which didn't really reflect the song in any way...
