Photos help me remember details otherwise lost to time. I remember being especially excited about taking this photo back in October 1995.

I'd noticed how nice the light was over this pond, so I brought my camera to work the following day.

Since then, trees have grown up in front of the water and mostly blocked this view from the road. This was shot along route 12A in my hometown of Plainfield. #NewHampshire #ThrowbackThursday #KonicaTCX

@analogfusion NH truly had two kinds of people: the lucky ones that are born here, and the smart ones that move here.
@analogfusion I know that spot, I think. I’ll be driving through Plainfield one of these days soon to go to Edgewater to buy seedlings.

@johnlehet Yup, it would be on your left, just after the big swamp by Hedgehog Road on the right if you're heading North. I haven't looked in a year or two, so I don't know the current status.

I'm always drawn to that spot for some reason.

@analogfusion Yeah, I've photographed it some myself but never to any good effect. I think it's a lot more grown up with brush since your image was exposed. I had a great physical therapist in Plainfield, so I drove by there regularly for a while. Alas, she has moved away.

@johnlehet That was more or less its state when I last went by. I'd have loved to photograph there around dawn with mist hovering over the still water.

But things change.

@analogfusion I really appreciate seeing sceenes from the times and places I grew up.
@m750 Good, because I've got a lot of them. ;) Most aren't anything great from a photographic standpoint, but they mean a lot to me.
