#meshtastic #WisBlock #RAK19007 battery #socket polarity wrong way round. What is best work-around if I want to keep plugging in batteries that I charge using the right polarity?
1) Cut the cables & swap the poles of my batteries & then adapt chargers' polarity round? Is that a fire risk if someone then puts in a normal polarity battery?
2) Soldering out socket & turning it round?
3) An adapter to be had?
4) Adapt the socket?
5) Adapt the battery plug?

@adingbatponder If you can have the socket from the other side of the PCB, then turning the socket sounds right. If not, I would replace it with _another_ socket (so nobody can plug wrong polarity) and an adapter to a standard socket.
OTOH if you're the only person to use the device, make an adapter, keep the socket and mark it with a red warning sign.
