Here's a short ๐Ÿงต with an introduction to the four other LBWs our @InteractionsUniSG group will present at #chi2024 next week.
Three of them were led by Master students from our #ubiquitouscomputing course! ๐Ÿš€

Led by our Master student Adrian, *AuctentionAR *is a system that enables user's to auction off their visual attention to objects (e.g., advertised products) in their environment through indicators in #augmentedreality. We also addresses the privacy concerns involved and outline considerations for future privacy-conscious development of AR #advertising.

Our Master student Luka investigated how we can prevent #phishing through #qrcodes (*quishing*) by adapting the design of QR codes to make tampering more easily recognizable. We also propose different attacker models tailored to address quishing attacks, and a small study in a public setting showed that our proposed designs indeed helped people to notice tampered QR codes!

Our Master student Jan created the GOPHAC system (*Gaze-based Opportunistic Privacy-preserving Human-Agent Collaboration*) that enhances human-agent #collaboration by utilizing user's gaze data to show #privacy-preserving, #contextaware, opportunistic notifications. It allows (autonomous software) #agents to deliver notifications to humans only when the context is appropriate.

Building on his Bachelor Thesis, Adrian, @kenan and me present the *GlassboARd *system that enhances #AR remote #collaboration by allowing users to see each other's #gaze and thus make eye contact while communicating in a shared task. In future studies we plan to use GlassboARd to investigate the impact of shared eye gaze on communication bandwidth.
